Randy J. Goodwin has starred and guest starred in over 30 television shows (sit-coms, dramas & movies of the week), amassing nearly 100 episodes. He's worked on all major networks as well as cable. NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, UPN, WB, SHOWTIME, HBO, LIFETIME, BET, as well as Feature Films, Commercials and Stage. He also turns down more work than any other actor due to his moral background and his "no compromise" stance, yet he works more than 95% of all actors. IN THE WORKS ( 2007-2008 )
2007 poses to be an interesting year for BLACKWATER ENTERTAINMENT partners Randy, Tristan Rogers (best known for his portrayal of Robert Scorpio on General Hospital), and D.R. Farquharson (Award winning writer/director), as they gear up for a three picture slate. "We're taking it back to when film making was about a great story, defined characters, and a trip to the theater that's well worth the inflated price of a ticket".
If you remember, Randy severed his achilles tendon last year. We're happy to report that the surgery and rehab were successful and after a painful year and a half, he's back on his feet! While he was incapacitated he, his producing partners and first time writer/director Bryant McCain had been putting in work behind the scenes on Bryant's first full length feature film "Consequence". Bryant is also a student of Randy's acting/writing seminars.
We are in pre-production with a start date for lensing in mid-August in Omaha, Nebraska. The film stars Randy as Officer Walker and Dameon Clarke as his partner, Officer Simms, a couple of drug dealing cops, Tristan Rogers as Councilman Sorensen, Ricky Horne, Jr. as the good hearted Pierre, Michael Jai White as Max, business man/hitman and Billy Sly Williams as his partner. Also recently commited to the project are David Ramsey as Sgt. Gibson and Ron Reaco Lee as ex-con Alex. We will be casting the remaining roles out of Omaha and the surrounding area early to mid August.
Omaha born Bryant McCain will be co-directing with D.R. Farquharson. The film is Executive Produced by Blackwater Entertainment's Randy, D.R. and Tristan, Co-Executive Producer Dorian Washington, Co-Producers Patrick Stibbs and Mimi Goodwin.
Randy's acting/writing seminars have taken on a new twist as well. NOT ANOTHER ACTING CLASS.com has gone global with streaming-online content, ebooks (coming soon), teleseminars and more. And last but not least, Randy and wife Mimi welcomed little Randy Jerome Goodwin II into the world on May 11, 2007. That rounds out the total to 6 children. 4 Girls and 2 Boys. Momma and baby are doing just fine.
